Budapest, the sleeping beauty
During three days in May, me and my dear friend Kathi visited Budapest. We traveled back in time in old beautiful cafés, we had a muffin or two in new colorful cafés, we did shopping in small crowded stores, jogged around the island in the middle of the Daunbe, we did some sightseeing by tram and we took a bath with old chess playing men before we went back home with a quite comfortable night train.

Happy home life
There have been many beautiful days spent at home too, barefoot in the garden. Why go away when there is a small paradise just in front of the house?

A week in Barcelona
My previous experiences of Barcelona, and Spain in general, were not the best, so if it wasn't for the photo course I signed up for, I doubt I would have gone back. But a creative week with Pia Ulin, that was a good reason for traveling to Spain one more time. And I had such a good week! Mainly due to the fantastic people and participants in the course and the kind of every day life we lived. Four of us shared appartment and for the first time in my life, I was part of a schedule for when to use the shower in the morning. Everything for keeping the good morning routine. :) The rest of the days were spent with taking pictures at wonderful locations, hanging out in the neighborhood and having dinner just around the corner.
Invading animals...
Visiting some creative peoples´ community
What happened to May and what happened to my blog?
Nature woke up and my blog fell asleep… But time is here for changing this! Because May was a month full of beauty: the nature, a great photo course in Barcelona (the place I didn't expect to visit a second time), a weekend in Budapest, another weekend in Ticino and a week in Sweden. And in-between there was some great everyday life.

A week full of celebrations

Soft feathers and long ears
Easter is a good for spending time in big red armchairs, reading books and drinking tea.
And warming up cold feet in front of a chimney.
"Weicher Flaum und lange Ohren" made our day. We found this sweet event at Naturama in Aarau thanks to the e-newsletter from Transhelvetica.
You could not only hang out with the chickens, but also make your own chocolate Easter bunny. This is Switzerland as its best!
The experts…
There is one thing I'm sure about: the world would be a better place if more people would do their own chocolate Easter bunnies!
